Hotness Rating 3 out of 5 When it comes to the whole Billionaire Bachelor or pretend marriage for the sake of a common goal trope I am not a huge fan. The stories often come off cheesy and bland. To be honest, I only gave this book a chance because I've always loved Jessica Lemmon and wanted to give her a shot. I am so glad I did. I loved The Billionaire Bachelor. This first book of the Billionaire Bad Boys series made me laugh out loud so many times. Not to mention the spicy romance and entertaining story line. I don't know how she did it, but Ms. Lemmon made me a fan of her version of the billionaire bachelor storyline and I'm looking forward to reading more in this series. Reese Crane is every stereotype you have ever thought of when you think sexy, young, uber-rich single guy with the world at his fingertips. He's cold and ruthless when it comes to getting what he wants. He discards women without a second thought. He's driven in business and willing to do anything he has to to achieve his goals. Case in point Merina Van Heusen. Merina is sentimental and nostalgic. That doesn't take away from her drive to succeed but she does it with a much softer, more personal approach. So, when she finds out that her beloved hotel has fallen into the hands of the evil Crane family's hands, specifically Reese Crane, she will do anything to save her legacy. The whole relationship between Reese and Merina starts as a way for Reese to show the board that he's settled down and deserves the top position at Crane Hotels now that his dad is retiring. You immediately think this is going to be the same old story with just a nuance of difference. But, it's not. Reese has so much depth as a character. I loved his sexy side, but I think I loved his humorous side even better. Ms. Lemmon touched on a dark side to Reese, but thank goodness didn't beat this into the ground. He was loyal to his family and yes a little damaged, but when he lost himself in Merina it was fantastic! Merina balanced Reese beautifully. She went into their agreement hesitantly and not happy about it, but when she was in she was in. I loved her wit and ability to be honest in all situations. I loved that she didn't play games and was up front about what she wanted and what she needed. All in all, this was a homerun for me. I can not wait to read more about the Crane brothers and see what this series has to offer. You can find this review and others at Books, Chocolate and Lipgloss

What could possibly go wrong. These two are like oil and water on the surface but the more time they spend with each the more they find they have in common. Both have been seriously hurt and betrayed in the past which has molded them into the untrusting individuals they are. This book is full of witty banter and hot romance lover's of Jessick Lemons books are accustomed too. I can't wait for the next stories about Reese's brothers! I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

I loved it – more please! The Billionaire Bachelor is a standalone book, the first in a new series called Billionaire Bad Boys. It’s exactly the kind of story that made me fall in love with Jessica Lemmon’s writing over two years ago. I wasn’t real crazy about all of her Lost Boys stories but this one has me completely back on board. The story has a wonderful, strong heroine in Merina Van Heusen and Reese Crane is just enough of a jerk-bad boy that you can hate him a little until you really get to know more about him (he’s been betrayed by a lover) as the story develops. Merina loves the Van Heusen boutique hotel that has been her family’s legacy. Unbeknownst to her it was sold and now she’s furious – at her parents for not telling her about their financial problems and at Crane Hotels for buying it and wanting to turn it into another non-descript, modern looking hotel. Reese Crane needs to change his image if he’s to obtain his life’s goal of becoming CEO of Crane Hotels when his father retires. He comes up with the perfect plan – marry Merina. If she’ll stay married to him for 6 months he will sign the Van Heusen over to her free and clear. This is an updated marriage of convenience type of story and I loved it! The first time Merina and Reese meet she’s soaking wet and demanding that he stop the updates he’s ordered for the Van Heusen. He’s intrigued by her and admires her feistiness (as well as how she looks in a wet, see-through blouse). Jessica Lemmon’s writing couldn’t be better. I laughed and I cried and I wanted to beat Reese over the head more than once. Oh, did I mention how hot and steamy it gets between Marina and Reese – even after they both said there wouldn’t be any sex during their marriage? Wow, made my ereader nearly burn my fingers! Reese has two brothers that I’m sure will get their own books and I can’t wait to read them. ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my review. Review will be posted to Xtreme-Delusions dot com on or after release date.
